We define and study a class of Reed-Muller type error-correcting codes obtained from elementary symmetric functions in finitely many variables. We determine the code parameters and higher weight spectra in the simplest cases.

I had started my master project aiming to study Nonlinear PDEs on Hyperbolic spaces such
as the Curvature problem (Yamabe problem). In this thesis, most of the prerequisites have
been written to study such problems.

Let f be a primitive Hilbert modular form over F of weight k with coefficient field E-f, generated by the Fourier coefficients C(p, f) for p is an element of Spec(O-F). Under certain assumptions on the image of the residual ...
Let H-1 and H-2 be complex Hilbert spaces and T : H-1 -> H-2 be a bounded linear operator. We say T is norm attaining if there exists x is an element of H-1 with parallel to x parallel to = 1 such that parallel to Tx ...
System signatures have transitioned from an emerging topic to a growing research area. It has become essential to classify different research directions and examine the general trends of this promising research area. This ...
We demonstrate that if J is an M-ideal in a Lindenstrauss space X, then X satisfies the famous Smith and Ward identity, that is, (Formula presented.) for finite subsets F of X. We introduce strong property- (Formula ...
This paper considers the problem of comparing several means under the one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) setup. In ANOVA, outliers and heavy-tailed error distribution can seriously hinder the treatment effect, leading ...
Machine Learning Models are known to understand the intricacies of the data well, but native ML models cannot be used in time-to-event analysis due to censoring. In this paper, we explore the use of Machine Learning Models ...

In Similarity Search (SS), given a new piece of data (or a query), often a close enough match to it from a given set of data points is sought. One view of SS is that the query is assumed to be a noise corrupted data point. ...
Abstract: Prior support constrained compressed sensing has of late become popular due to its potential for applications. The existing results on recovery guarantees provide global recovery bounds in the sense that they ...
In this article, first, we study the spectral properties of operators which attain their norm on every reducing subspace and then we study the structure of normal and quasinormal operators in this class. At the end we give ...
In genomewide association study (GWAS) of a complex phenotype, a large number of variants, many with small effect sizes, are found to contribute to the variability of the phenotype. Subsequent to the identification of such ...
We consider singularly perturbed equations of the form {ε2Δu−u+up=0 in A⊂RN,u>0 in A,u=0 on ∂A, where A is a annulus and p>1. It has been conjectured for a long time that such problems possess solutions having m-dimensional ...
In this paper, we analyze the various strengthening and weakening of the uniqueness of the Hahn–Banach extension. In addition, we consider the case in which Y is an ideal of X. In this context, we study the property ...
In this paper, we thoroughly study the Ricci–Bourguignon almost soliton and gradient Ricci–Bourguignon almost soliton on paracontact metric manifolds. First we find some sufficient conditions under which a paracontact ...

We obtain an upper bound on the first Chern class and the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of an initialized rank 3 ACM bundle on a general hypersurface in P4. As a corollary, we prove that a general hypersurface in P4 of ...
We give a classification of the generalized Laguerre polynomials Ln(α)(x), where α≠n is an integer, having the alternating group An as the Galois group over the rationals for up to a finitely many exceptions.
Background: India has a substantial burden of malaria, concentrated in specific areas and population groups. Spatio-temporal modelling of deaths due to malaria in India is a critical tool for identifying high-risk groups ...
Inspired by the work of Clifford on obtaining order from semigroups, many works have proposed different ways of obtaining orders from associative fuzzy logic operations. However, unlike Clifford's relation, these were ...
